Thunderdome is an exhibition of all exhibitions that have taken place at The Institute of Jamais Vu; a gallery space currently based in Haringey, London. Twenty shows have taken place there between November 2011 and May 2014, throughout three seasonal programmes.
A catalogue documenting these first three seasons at The Institute of Jamais Vu will be released alongside Thunderdome.
Relocated from London to blip blip blip in Leeds, the gallery itself and all twenty shows alike are simultaneously reconstructed from fibreboard. Each and every artwork overlaps and engulfs the next as their original positioning and dimensions are upheld, forming one conglomerate exhibition. This exhibition is Thunderdome.
Twenty shows enter; one show leaves.
